Hi

Need/want a new bag... currently have a bag which I find uncomfortable to carry and use a push trolley.

The new bags look a lot lighter plus carrying seems to be easier for convenance maybe in both car and actually on the course.

However only used a trolley last few years.

Any thoughts anyone who have made switch/or who carry?

I mix it up.

I have a carry bag and put it on my trolley if I don’t want to carry. I wouldn’t want to have two bags as it’s inconvenient.

Carrying comes into its own for quick evening rounds and winter golf.

Trolleys are great for competitions when I want more stuff in my bag.

I have a couple of bags and swap occasionally.

Mainly trolley with a cart bag as carrying can be knackering at my place

I use a carry bag in the week to play a few holes after work and swap to a cart bag and my electric trolley at weekends, primarily as it's easier to get things like snacks and waterproofs in without feeling like a sherpa

I carry and I'm quite old!
Have always carried and will do so for as long as possible.
I'll only use a trolley if it's going to be wet because my carry bag isn't waterproof.
If we're abroad, I'll carry for six rounds in six days without any problems.

I switch between the two but find myself carrying more often than not lately.
Can recommend the Taylormade Flextech range, very comfortable.

I only carry these days - find it much easier than loading bigger bag n trolley into car.

For past 5 years have been using Original Jones bag - very robust and light at 3lbs.

Also find that when carrying you only put essential stuff in the bag - with trolley bag i was putting stuff in every pocket.

Plus you cant always get a trolley to places where i hit my ball!

I had this conundrum, I’ve recently purchased a Motocaddy Aquaflex bag which is awesome.
It’s a hybrid, a carry bag but will fit on a trolley really well.
I find it a doddle to carry to the range and will carry for 9 holes and then use my trolley for 18 holes.
Perfect bag for me 😊
