Always place the golf bag down facing the wind (ie: club heads facing the wind head on), don't put it side on to the wind or it will blow over.

Any other helpful golf tips forumites?

Use a pencil bag in winter. Grips don't get wet, lighter and no need to worry about bags falling over.

This is wrong. If the wind is super strong, it will blow your bag like a kite.

Always place the golf bag facing down wind (ie: club heads facing away from the wind direction, not head on and especially if raining with no cover on)

This. The wind will blow over the bag, the bag won’t blow over or fly away.
