Sky have really amped up their services of late. SkyGo on the iPad is amazing, especially when HID is watching some other guff like E! Entertainment... My only gripe is the way they handle their "2 device" rule thing...but Now I've settled on the iPad and Laptop, it's not really an issue.
I've recently activated the Anytime+ service too...Loads of great on demand tv to keep me entertained - They have all of the "how the ryder cup was won" programmes dating back to 1995...Brilliant to get me in the mood for this year (didn't bother with Valhalla!
)...BBC iPlayer, 4OD and ITV Player will soon be activated as services available through the planner, so you can watch terrestrial stuff on demand with ease through the TV.
Yes, it's pricey, but their service is second to none in my opinion. And outside of the odd channel 401-405 (and 408) are the only channels I watch, so it's worth the subscription to me and it keeps HID happy as she has all the entertainment package channels for her programmes.

Why stop at sly sports?
Cancel the lot and invite them round to pick up their gear so you can insert it into whichever orafice you so desire.
I cancelled sly 2 years ago and don't miss it at all.

No, but you either need Sky Sports or the HD package both of which cost extra. I know which I'd choose if I had to choose between the two.
