Hi all
today I was supposed to be playing in my 1st ever club v club match, I was feeling very nervous but it was cancelled due to bad weather.
why is it that when your at work or too busy to play golf the weather is glorious and when you plan an important game, it chucks it down!!!! I suppose it's abit like barbecues it best ones are the last minute ones.
Well thats my moaning over with for the time being.
Thanks all

Never mind, chin up. Dont take it as a negative. Is there anythin you feel you could wipe the cobwebs off before the next outing? Maybe that dreaded bunker shot or the dennis wise putt.

How much you wanna pay?

I will give you the obvious Galvin Green recommendations but they come at a high price normally.

As i am not a lady, (in my most manly voice) i cant actually recommend anythin to you.

But i have just purchased a stubert waterproof and this was excellent. Good quality, good price, Looks nice.

Might be worth dropping AliB a pm on this one.

Otherwise check out the main site and see if there is anything in the reviews section

Bad luck with the weather. It rained here (Bristol) all morning but is okay now, though probably a bit windy for comfort. I am on a bit of a fitness kick (post -Easter binge - probably won't last) and took myself off for a swim. good news - over 50s day - half price. Bad news - I never knew there were so many over 50s in the world - couldn't swim a length uninterrupted!
re waterptoofs I've had a Sunderland jacket for years that I swear by. Feels bit warm in summer but it's light to pack. PM me if you'd like details.
Hope you get sopme golf in over the weekend!

Tough luck today Barb, just think though that when its re-arranged the course may be dry and playing like it should- I'm hoping we've had all the April showers in March!!!

Good luck with the games this weekend, the nearest I'll get is watching the European Tour on TV!! :(

Unlucky barb. Like you I have my first match, mine is tomorrow though.
Conditions not too favourable as it has rained constantly since just before lunchtime.

Wise advice from TonyN. Try to iron out any niggling faults before the match is rescheduled, it may well pay dividends.
