Having been away from the game for 7 months due to a knee replacement i came back about 6 weeks ago and have steadily improved ( currently 14 handicap). Over the last 2/3 weeks my game for no apparent reason has gone from strength to strength resulting in my first ever round under 80. I have no real idea why but am enjoying the moment. Is this something others have experienced?

Sounds like your team away has made you appreciate how much you enjoy your game. Did come back from the knee replacement mean a lot of physio to strengthen other core muscles?

Lack of expectation and self induced pressure...plus just enjoying being able to play without getting hooked up on the results.

Hi, lots of physio but it feels more like i am swinging with alot more ease played the front nine of my course 2 over with a double bogey on the par 4 ninth.

Haven't experienced it myself, and therefore have no idea why it would be happening. If you find out, be sure to let me know ;)

1) You were always a pretty tidy golfer
2) You are probably swinging within yourself to protect things
3) You are a bandit off 14

It's great to have you back at the club, mate! :)

Have you played any comps yet , just enjoy it as the game will bite you back soon to keep you on yer toes
