Bunkers

Just heard Jason Day saying he duffed a pitch'n'run and failed to get in the bunker. He was trying to get in the bunker as it's an easier shot than a chip from rough.

That's just not right.
A bunker should be a hazard not an easy option.
Time they stopped raking or replaced them with grass bunkers to make it tricky again.

I think it is due to the nature of the Augusta Greens, the sand offers a little more chance of spinning the ball to a stop than the fairway for a short pitch.

Tiger just did the same on 17th. I'm sure it's so they can get the spin.
