I wonder why the green staff haven't been pumping the flooded bunkers all night. Surely they have had enough time from the last players last night to this morning to have a few pumps working and getting rid of lots of the water.

I know the water level is going to determine the bunker flooding too, but seems strange that two bunkers next to one another can be so different, just makes sense to me to be pumping away as long as possible.

I would imagine they only have limited amount of greenstaff and they would have very detailed plans of cutting fairways greens raking bunkers etc. I would think that its very hard for them to try and also pump out 200 bunkers with the schedule they are already on.

Although as Faldo and co said this morning its part of the sport and its fairly unique for these players. Makes it more important to miss these bunkers unlike some of the US tournaments we see where players are purposely aiming for bunkers so they can get a better shot.

Deliberately hitting into a bunker from 270 yards away is not necessarily less skillful than playing out of a tough bunker....

Leave them as they are.
Makes the pro's look as silly as we have to look sometimes

Had to laugh at McIlroy yesterday when he had to drop out of the water into the sand.
Plugged lie. He didn't like it. Tough. Get on with it. I've bladed many of those through a clubhouse window
