Buggies vs carrying/trollies

Normally walk, don't think buggies make that much diff to pace - even if it is a little quicker than walking, you have to wait for the guys in front that are walking anyway!

Having said that, playing 2 rounds in 1 day - was glad we got a buggy for the 2nd round, my feet were killing me, mind you I am so unfit and lazy

I would walk the first round as well, and have a buggy booked for the second. You get a better feel for the course walking it.

hate buggies, and without doubt play my worse golf in them. there is only one course i was glsad to have a buggy at, Austin Lodge Nr Brands hatch, dam that place has some long green to tee walks with some mega elavation changes. its the only course where ive heard rumours or them trying to make it a compulsary buggy course, and i dont think it was a bad idea. that.... or they should get caddies there, now we're talking.

Never used one, ever.

Played in a 3 ball at the Izacc Walton GC a few years back. 2 guys went in the buggy, I wandeed behind and , too be honest, I was glad for the peace.
