With my non tecky brain I need some help again

Looking to get a simple basic 10" tablet to allow me to surf, watch videos and use a small number of personal apps (kindle etc). This will be used solely over the home wifi. Would like something with an SD card to expand the storage also.

Found some very basic cheap deals online for less that £50 and this article has helped (although some 7" included)

Any reasons to stay away from some as cheap as these?

Any recommendations?

When deciding on a new tablet I so nearly bought a lonovo tab2 a10. It ticked so many boxes. Ended up with a Asus Zen pad 8.0 as I did not mind the smaller screen, the display was better and it had more ram. They do a 10 inch version but it has less ram I think. The Galaxy Tab A was another option but even the Tab E may fit your needs. If you can handle the 8 inch screen and can spend £160 then the Asus Zen pad is a cracker and up there with the iPad mini

A few of the Techie guys at my work bought a 10" Lenovo from Argos in the sale, including a cracking case was under £150. They were saying it was a great spec for the price.

I know you are looking for Android but I've got a Linx 1010B running Windows 10 which I've been very happy with.
You don't get the number of Apps as you do for Android but as a machine for browsing and doing some work on, it's ideal.

Problem with some of the cheaper ones is screen quality. Poor viewing angles, low colour density, low pixel count etc. Other is is that you may not get android updates quickly if at all.

I bought the lenovo a10 a month or so ago for £110 and its pretty decent. The screen isn't as good as my previous Galaxy Tab 10.1 but it does the job and is fairly decent for the money
