British Masters TV coverage

Was just going to post this, looks a lovely place to play golf.

Will need to get down there one time for a couple of rounds.

They are going to do some Spring specials - when they publish them I might see if a few want to do a couple rounds

Incidentally, Woburn looks nice!

it is a top notch venue and there has been a couple of meets there. Depending on the deal they would be a bit of interest no doubt.

Aye, I'd be more than happy to hack it round Woburn again.. Might even take on that split fairway par 5 this time rather than bottling it..

Sounds good. Lucky boy getting to play there as often as you do

Are the 3 courses similar in style?

Different styles

Marquess is more American Parkland style - wide fairways big greens - a drivers paradise with stunning big tall trees

The Duchess is tight as a ducks bottom
- some wonderful par 3's , smaller undulating greens - a very tough test

Dukes - best of the lot IMO - bar two par 4's which are a touch samey but has tight drives , stunning par 3 , more of a mix between the other two

Dodgy turf down there!! I saw 2 shanks yesterday (Molinari & Fitzpatrick) and Poulter has just piped another

Fore right

Just noticed Luke Donald using an M1.

Has he finally found something he can hit straight?

Has he not had a TM driver only contract for a while now ? I know he used the R11 ?

No idea about contracts. I know he's used TM before but I thought he'd switched back and forth a couple of times as Mizuno release new ones.
Although he's a 'name', he's not a great advert for a driver unless he suddenly gets a lot straighter and finds 20yds. IMO.

He's hit a couple of nice ones since we first commented. Just seemed to smack a nice one down the middle, further than GMac although he's not particularly long either.

What's really interesting, though, is the caddy takes the M1 back and puts a Mizuno headcover on it.....

Mizuno Fitter told me he had a bag, hat and iron Only deal. if you look on his webpage says TM are one of his "Partners"
