Botox and......

I think this should be more aimed at where people have too much and it just looks silly. I expect there are far more celebs of both sexes who have had this done and as it has been done relatively well and there is not so much of a 'before and after'. So we do not notice.

I think if people want to do it then it's their face/bodies so crack on. Yes some look ridiculous (Helen Chamberlain of Soccer AM shocked me when I saw her for the first time in ages recently) but I agree with FD in that expectations in society and the way women are judged on their looks (and it is mostly women) in some areas also plays a part. The Daily Mail* for one seems to be constantly shocked that women age and do not look like they did 20 years.

* HKs obligatory dig at the DM quotient reached for the thread.

My entirely unscientific thoughts on "who piles into women who age naturally" is that it is other women who bitch most. Blokes couldn't give a hoot. 99% of blokes prefer women to age naturally, wear less make up. It is other women who make judgements about women on the whole.

And some just do it to feel good. If they look good, they feel good. My wife (34) has botox and she doesn't look like a freak, there is a fine line (no pun!) between subtlety and overdoing it. If she is happy, i'm happy. simple.

Very unscientific indeed.

I think reading down these comments is becomes obvious why some women may feel the need to stay young looking and attractive. Its a shame that talent has nothing to do with celebrity anymore. And watch out guys, it's your turn now!

I'll need to think about that... I'm trying to decide if it's just bollocks, "utter" bollocks or, possibly, "complete" bollocks. ;)

Or complete and utter Ballax 😁👍
but joking aside am with LT on this. Au natural for the tash, bar armpit air removal. Once went to a cousins wedding, me auntie was there and she had Botox on the top lip. She talked like lady Penelope outta thunderbirds.

If there is one thing that looks worse than Botox, it is complete removal of eyebrow hair only to be replaced by a sharpie pen with a wobbly hand. Someone educate me on that one.

Ha ha ha. Tell you what, buy some of the glossy magazines, weekly ones etc. Magazines all aimed at women, written by women, tearing women apart.

You a big reader of these are you? Not getting into an argument but if you think women who go for cosmetic surgery do it primarily due to "bitching" from other women you are completely deluded. Nice cliche though.

Ah, another woman bitching.
