Blew a 7 shot lead yesterday :(

Long weekend away with a few of the lads in Llandudno, played
NW golf club Friday and Conwy Saturday and Sunday.
Weather was amazing and with a strong wind and baked links
Greens the courses were a good test.

A nice 78, 82 had me 7 shots clear after Saturday and I went
And shot 98 on Sunday!!!!

I honestly don't know whether to laugh or cry
This game can be so frustrating at times can't it!?

How do you boys work on the mental side of the game? Cus I need some
serious help lol

You plonker Rodney! Was it really that serious though that you need help on the mental side. To me these boys trips away are about the craic and the golf comes second. Great if you can string some good scores together but the winning is never the be all. If you hit a 98 in the next club medal then I'd be looking for answers

ouch 98 after 78, 82 maybe the excesses of a couple of lads nights out took there toll?
A bad round like that can happen just got to try and forget about it (although your mates probaly wont let you!) and remember the good shots of the 78 when next on the course.

I know its daft isn't it... we play somewhere every year and have a little claret job that we play for
so we do kind of take it seriously.

I jumped straight back on the horse and went up the course this morning, and I'm striking the ball
as well as ever.... just don't understand it!!

Perhaps it was just too much sun and ale
