Another one of those down to single figure threads

Over the bank holiday weekend we had a qualifier on the Sunday and a Tankard on the Monday. Played my first decent round in months on the Sunday shooting 76 (par 69) with four birdies on the card, cue the banter from the lads I played with it was a day too early! Turned up on the Monday with no real aspirations of repeating the feat especially as the club had dropped me a shot down to 11 (see sig). Scrambled the whole day to play around to my handicap and managed to go par birdie the last two holes (shots on both) to shoot 78 and win the Tankard by a shot.

That initially dropped me to 10.3 but apparently there was a computer error and when they redid the results yesterday I was given an ESR which has dropped me to 9.3 :whoo:

Ive worked really hard on my game since last summer and had a regular set of lessons with my pro and gone through quite a swing change so to see the hard work pay off so quickly is amazing.

I found as soon as I made single figures I dropped another couple within a month as all the self-imposed pressure was lifted from my shoulders.
