Hold on I seem to remember we gave Chris such beating on the front nine, we swapped partners to make it more competitive.
I may be stricken in years but I thought it was Snelly who received the beating and then went on to repeat it after the swap!!

If I remember correctly it is downhill, so not as far as you think
I love the place. It isn't a million miles away but just too far to make it a viable place to join, even as a second club. Just have to hope that a kindly member fancies organising a GM meet there again soon

Well just back from the society day out and what another cracking day with the Mariners
The course is lovely , cracking layout with tough greens and some very interesting tee shots. Some great par 3s and a few fairways to open your shoulders on. Certainly look forward to playing it again
Played with TXL and a cracking guy from the society - was a pleasure all day and how i like my golf - In good company with great banter on and off the course.
For people that like the old school traditional society it is perfect :thup:
Highly recommend it and highly recommend the course.

I managed to witness my first ever hole in one. Shame it wasn't me, but really good to see one after all these years.

And it was great to put a face to another name in TXL - his longest driver was a cracker !!

Don't forget, not only did John have an ace on 17, he got nearest the pin on 9! The lessons he has been having with the pro at my club must be working!
