I agree with you.

The only Tiger related news that could be considered big would be if he announced that, despite the reports of his ongoing recovery, he won't play professional golf ever again.

Now THAT would break twitter.

Maybe he's passed the SEAL training stuff and is being deployed soon.

As he's so obsessed with the military, has anyone thought to send him an invitation to HFH this year, it may be right up his street?

Thought it was going to do with his recreational activities. Now that would be interesting.

Reading the article about Tiger brings to mind the madness of Michael Jackson. I hope he can find peace and happiness in his self somewhere. Would still like to see him compete again but it's not looking likely is it?

Was thinking the same about Tiger but I can't see that happening until he's given it one more try. I suspect, in his head he is desperate to get out there and prove he can still compete with Rory, Spieth et al and he won't give up on that dream easily.

To be honest don't find either of those newsworthy, although I can imagine most Americans getting pretty worked up by them. Article was well written, but found it pretty dull and not really saying anything new about TIger.

Apparently he was smashing 2 iron stingers down the range as well, a shot he struggled to pull off and barely used when he made his last return.

Can't wait to see Tiger back playing. Always such a buzz when he's at a tournament. Tournaments have been pretty exciting recently, but add an in-form Tiger to the mix and we'll be in for some fantastic majors this year. Will he get a Ryder Cup pick?

I'm great on the range. The ball rises smoothly and effortlessly, it hangs in the air. I can even hit a draw on the range. I can sometimes even hit one of my blessed hybrids well on the range. V. different out on the course. Does this mean Tiger and I have something in common now?
