Beware of who you are selling too..

Thanks guys for all your comments,Yes in hindsight i maybe should have got all the payment before sending the club, but like someone said when you are on this type of forum you think we are all the same, honest, decent people(99.9)percent are, just unfortunate i found the other 0.1... So no i dont think the for sale/wanted should go its great to see what other people are getting rid of and after one honest sale(ALEX) will keep viewing all aspects of this great forum..

This forum is turning into the OAP section of a golf club more and more each week.

Dont post, dont read any post infact dont even switch on ur pc if you dont like the forum or whats been said on it.

Simple.

Parmo on a 'let's say something controversial' shocker. :o

Do yourself a favour and listen to what Farneyman said.

As a rule forums are filled with like minded people who want a good genuine deal as they cant afford to "sh*t on their own doorstep"

Are you having a laugh? This is a golf forum on the interweb not the 19th down the local.

Sorry but i couldnt disagree more.

Alot of games and meet ups are arranged on here, social days, competitions, and importantly swap shop bargins.

Why risk losing out an all the site has to offer for the sakes of £50.00. 2 rounds around your local goat track and the £50.00 is gone, but the knowledge advice and benifits from being on here is priceless. its the same with all forums.

As it is the buyer of the product has pretty much screwed himself for the sakes of £50.00, was it worth it?

Now there's something you don't see everyday - Parmo courting controvery. No-one is forced to use the for sale section. You do so at your own risk (buyer and seller beware) and to say that numerous people on here have been stitched up or conned is wrong. Yes there have been issues but it's no different to what goes on via e-bay.

At the end of the day Parmo, no-one forces you to be on here and read what's happening and whilst you are quite welcome to your own opinions (however far fetched and inaccurate) don't be surprised if the majority disagree. If you can't stand the heat and fallout from your posts then best not to say anything at all

I agree Craw.
Although, there are still scumbags out there.

Look at that RickG fellow for example.
He's had my/Jan's PK wheel almost a week now and I haven't seen a penny yet. Scumbag
;)

Will you accept installments? Shall we say 2p per week? :D

Hi All, Larry (sam larrimore) has now paid the money owed to me, And i have requested this post now be removed from the forum, thanks to everyone for the comments....

It's good news that you eventually got your money.

Can't see why you want the post removed though. It acts as a good reminder for people to be careful when dealing with unknown people on the Internet.

The minimum post & time idea sounds like a good one.(200 posts and 6 months under their belt).

I'd personally however be very wary about accepting instalments and would instead suggest delaying posting it until they had all the money saved up. Even if it means losing out on the sale a month later.
