Don’t the GPS apps like have slope included on their premium features
I find his response to me yesterday even more funny now I know he uses oneDid you not learn from your battle against GPS and range finders ?
Not sure many driver manufacturers bring out non-conforming clubs. Why do manufacturers bring out drivers that go supposedly 10yards further every year! The advantage gained is no different imo.
They do! I have a range finder that can do slope, I also have Hole19 premium as I like the fact I can get a full flyover of the hole so when I’m on the tee I can plot my way round, but top left corner where the yardage is displayed there is a little option to choose “plays like” this factors in slope and wind for the day!Don’t the GPS apps like have slope included on their premium features
I didn’t say they were non conforming I said they bring out drivers every year claiming added yardage and based on SILH argument I pointed out not every one can afford those either but it’s an added advantage allowed within the game for those that can!Not sure many driver manufacturers bring out non-conforming clubs.

It works both ways you can gain an advantage within the rules if you can afford it!
I get the point. But my point stands if you can afford that advantage you can have it and people dribble over having the latest kit for added distance but like the range finder regardless of having you still have to execute the shot so what’s the real difference and advantage gained for the average club player. Again imo None! The point is that rangefinders with "plays like" functionality is non-conforming. Driver manufacturers don't bring out non-conforming drivers that give you an advantage for casual play.
