Just wanted to say thanks to those who commented on my thread last week about my current struggles, it made me feel much better at the time and i took on board what you all said and i'm pleased to say i for now anyway seemed to have stopped the rot.
I played at Dunstanburgh castle yestereday and scored 39.
all it took in the end was to completely rid myself of all swingthought while i was teeing up my drives... i just looked down the fairway, picked where i wanted it to land, went through my preshot routine and swung... and it was nothing more complecated than that... so thanks again guys.
Matt. :)

Glad your game has come back. Had a lesson on Friday and finding it very difficult to bed in the changes to my backswing to incorporate a better turn and to try and stop my lateral movement up and down during the swing.

Played like a real idiot today and wasn't hitting it great on the practice ground beforehand either. Going to hit some balls tomorrow and see how I go and consider another lesson later in the week
