Two old boys at a local golf club were always playing together at the quietest times. They had been doing this for years, but one day one of them dropped dead on the 13th. green. Seeing that his friend was clearly dead, and no wanting the fuss of the ambulance and para-medics running all over the course, he decided to carry his dead friend back to the clubhouse. The membership were very appreciative of this action and he was given a special mention by the Captain at the AGM. The Captain thought it must have been a very arduous task to carry the body all that way. In reply the old gentleman thanked the Captain and members and said that it was not so much the carrying of the body that was difficult, it was having to put him down and then pick him up again every time he took a shot.
