Was just having a flick through HDID and came across my best and worst medal and stableford rounds. So for a bit of fun, what are yours?

Best medal - 84 gross off 20
Worst medal - 93 gross off 17

Par 73.

Best stableford - 39 points off 17
Worst stableford - 27 points off 17

Thank god we don't earn a living doing this!
 
Never played a medal. Medals are for good players only in Germany.

best Stabeford: 54 pts off 54, got me cut to 36 in one go. Wasn't my first tournament ever, though. Because:
worst Stableford: 8 pts over 9 holes, also off 54 ... yes, that one really hurt. I think I would have faired better with just a putter.

I played 24 pts over 9 holes a couple of weeks ago (off 32.5, but not a qualifier, so handicap stayed the same) and then the next day played 25 pts over 18 holes. On the same course. It's a weird and frustrating game.
 
My worst was 108. My best was 92, which I got the very next day. Those were my two rounds in the club championship, which also happened to be my worst and best rounds since I joined.

Worst Medal - 93 off 5 ( as we all know )

Best Stableford 41 of 5

Worst 22 of 8

Worst Medal: 94 (off 16, was after my 44 pointer!)
Best stableford: 44 pts
Worst stableford: 25 pts
 
Only played 11 qualifiers this year so far. Masterscoreboard doesn't go back to last year for us.

Best s'ford 41 off the blues, after that any white scores feel irrelevant. It even included a blob on the 2nd and I missed out on a count back win by 1 point.

Worst medal was my first and first ever competition 105. Had a LOT of penalties for not knowing or understanding some rules, learnt buckets from that round so its worth remembering despite the score.

thanks Gary ..... but no course records in there this year :)

amidst all played there were 3x64's in open scratch competition - which tied lowest my score ever
chances to break pb realistically in 2 of them but lipped

2x74's - one the best 74 have ever managed to shoot as if was at oakmont ... & had stayed out of the pews on 4th - & also avoided sahara :) fastest greens have ever played & have played some up there on the stimp ... understand why Snead said he went to mark his ball & the coin slipped off of the green ...

majority were between 67 - 72

(still can't work out how ended up in this thread first off ! was in the other thread answering with op quote - took cell call - then continued to finish write post up & submit - & hey it was posted up in this thread - never had that happen before real weird!)
