Balls to you all

Wouldn't it be nice if they were individually wrapped in red selophane again. It was a great feeling to unwrap a new ball prior to playing. Much better than getting out a new sleeve.

Anyone tried the TaylorMade Men’s TP Red Golf Balls or the black ones if so are they any good. Or should i stick to my pro v's

Off 6, Have used both and prefer the Black. I compare it to the Pro V1x - With both being the same price with most retailers I just buy whatever takes my fancy at the moment. However, I won a load of Callway Warbirds at an outing and am using them at the moment. I find they are fine once you get used to the difference in feel especially from mid iron shots. Does as it says on the tin "these birds will fly" - sometimes too far!!

Off 19.5 Currently using the Nike Black One-fine golf ball-like most people have used a variety of balls over the years. The Maxfli Black is also a fine ball as are the Srixons.

I remember the Commando-we used them playing Pitch & Putt in our youth.

I play off 11 and use a prov 1,i get the benefit from the short game and putting. The new version seems to be a bit more durable, the pro at my local course gave me the new nxt tour to try out this weekend and im impressed so will be giving these a go through the autumn & winter.

I always try to play with a Pro V 1 unless I have lost two or three during round and then use whatever is in bag.(I play off ten so thankfully this doesnt happen too often) I didn't think there was much difference but the feel is so apparent when practising as whenever I happen to hit a top flite I always feel the need to check if I have done any damage to my club. Surely it would be cheaper going to the beach and getting some similar sized pebbles.

I was just looking at the Pro V1 lake balls on American golf and had a peek at the comments. See the quote below, do people actually believe this?

alex
a year ago i had a handicap of 21, now i am a proffesional golfer because of these great balls
