Balls for a high handicapper

golf balls are sucha personal thing, so it really depends upon billserwants from the ball & what billser wants to spend.

For the cheaper end of the market, it'sgoing to be the harder distance ball that rules the roost & will likely be what a high handicap player might need, though again there is no hard & fast rule, even if many accept this as one at the cheaper end of the market I'd say go for something like Callaway Warbird. Don't much care for Srixon Distance, though as many have pointed out the AD333 is a good ball, personally I prefer the Trispeed, but for that money you might as well use Z-URS. However we've leapt up in price here.
Also down the bottom of the market is the Titleist PTS balls, they now come as two sorts rather then the standard so~lo version which was adequate.

Personal preference for cheap ball:
Callaway Warbird.

personal preference for cheap to medium priced balls:
Callaway Big Bertha, Srixon AD333, Titleist PTS.

Personal Preference for Medium Priced balls:
Titleist NXT Tour, Maxfli Fire, TaylorMade Burner-Tp, Srixon Trispeed

Personal Preference for Premium Priced Balls:
TaylorMade Tp-Red, Srixon Z-URS

The only honest advice I can give the original poster is try lots of balls and see what you like.

it could be your task for the winter buy a couple of different sleeves try them/lose them then try something else trial and error i did it for ages
