Thanks for clearing this up ,but it took 40 posts so what chance the ordinary players getting things right first time.

I have seen golfers do lots of worrying things.Why worry? What ordinary player is going to putt while there is a ball wedged against the flagstick which would obviously stop his own ball going in?
It was more that these changes are supposed to make it clearer.Perhaps it garnered 40 posts just because it sparked an interest and not necessarily anything to do with the 'rights and wrongs'. Its a 'Forum' people chime in to have a say - its not life and death.
