I think Mizuno do a stand bag that doubles up as a trolley bag...

but don't worry, this problem exists even with cart bags. only solution i've found is using a short strap to connect the handle of the back directly to the frame of the trolley.

I've had the same problem with standbags and with cart bags on some trolleys.

You need to find lashing points on the bag that will allow you to really pull it tight into the trolley, ideally positioned at the sides so you can use short straps (not bungees); unfortunately not many have them.

the damn things twist both from the bottom and the top, so you need to lock down both ends. though if you get the Powercaddy Cart Bag (no need to get the Tour bag) it should fit without twisting - though I wouldn't bet your life on it.

Re: bag&trolley help

Hi guys,

First timer, so don`t mean to come across as a know all. I have a Ping Latitude stand bag and that sits square most of the time.

Also has plenty of room, but not the lightest carry bag.

Stand bags on trolleys is a bit (hmm, not allowed to use the word I want to, as the pc brigade might be out and about, but think of the p word, used to describe itinerant caravaners with a penchant for laying tarmac).

I have an electric and pull trolley. I also have a stand bag and trolley bag.
I got the trolley bag when I bought the trolley off a bloke at my club. 2nd hand obviously and had seen a bit of use.

I've never used the cart bag, preferring to strap the stand bag on either of my trolleys sideways. Works for me.

Anyone need their drive tarmaccing? :D

Of course not. I played a guy at Sunningdale Ladies (great hidden gem) and he had a really old trolley with what looked like pram wheels, a battered bag full of holes, a jumble of woods up to a 9 wood (and then 6 8 PW SW and putter - all at least 30 years old) shoes that hadn't been cleaned since decimalisation and a jumper that had more holes than Swiss cheese. He then knocked it round in 6 or 7 over playing off 20
