It feels like it's been an age!!! I've dipping in and out of the forum over the past 9 months primarily to get the content I've needed but even that has been tough. Reading about your ups and downs, new clubs, great courses and fantastic forum meets has at times made me green with envy...

But my golfing exile is finally over 😃!!! The renovations are complete (well almost) and we moved in on Sunday. Playing this weekend for the first time in months and will then probably spend the winter trying to remember how to play the game (not that I ever knew in the first place)

Probably going to be limited by how much course time I can get between now and spring but have been given the green light to rejoin a club and can't wait.

Any tips on how to ease myself back in on a shoe string 3 month budget welcome 😃 Never really appreciated how much I'd miss golf this year!!!

Welcome back mate. There must be some clubs near you that do a decent deal on a winter membership if that is the way you want to go mate. Look forward to catching up at some meets next year mate.

Hows the back? New Coach working out? Gonna win a Major this ye...

Hold on...Sorry...Wrong Tiger..

Who are you again?

 yeah the back's fine, new coach is great and I'll soon be back winning majors!!!!

Here's hoping I do have a stormer on Sunday but reckon if I break 20 pts it will be a miracle. Good shout on winter membership will have a look at the offers.

Right, seeing how you've been away for so long, what's your views on:_

1. Rangers ongoing problems.
2. Scottish independence.
3. Where should you stand when a FC tees off?

Welcome back in.....;)

And don't forget bigger holes, the Yips and whether Liverpool need a new boss...:p

Great to have you back buddy! Get stuck right in!! Get a net for the garden so you can work on contact maybe?!

Regards to Chris Como..... :D

You have timed your comeback to upstage the other Tiger I see.

Hope it goes well Tiger. About time we got that photo of you at Blackmoor out, for those that can't remember you,. The one where you are chipping from behing the ball washer, water fountain, and a rather large oak tree. Do you get a free drop.

Thanks everyone here goes:
1. Rangers ongoing problems - Mike Ashley is their saviour
2. Scottish independence - Felt a bit sorry for Andy Murray but glad the Scott are still with us if for no other reasons than my love of golf and newly developed affection for whiskey
3. Where should you stand when a FC tees off
In the NFSP ???? What does that stand for by the way???
4. Bigger holes - utterly ludicrous suggestion but courses where i can always find my ball would get a big thumbs up
5. The Yips - don't stand too close to me if you've got them I've heard they're contagious
6. whether Liverpool need a new boss - thought they over achieved last year but BR did waste the Suarez money on overpriced dross. I'd give him till next Christmas as Sturridge's injury has been a big blow
7. Distance is very embarrassing I've lost about 15 yards and can't remember where I put it. Maybe some new clubs will help me find them again? Maybe I need a lesson? Or maybe the last time I played the sun was out and the ground was firm...
8. Rich it's the other way round. He timed his come back to coincide with all of the social media buzz my return to the forum was generating ;)
9. That photo is a reminder that sometimes the rules of golf suck! !!! Am sure it will make a reappearance at some point.

Have noticed that I now have a measly post count compared to where I was before I vanished. Sad times. Must start posting loads of +1s :)

are you still close enough to your old course to make it worth re-joining. If so contact the membership sec and explain your position, you may be surprised what can be offered by talking to the right person

welcome back

Hi I was thinking of joining a club near Edinburgh as my much awaited return..anyone got any recommendations?
Craigmillar park has a reasonable deal.
Thanks Peter
