Attempted suicide on the course today!

No, not by someone who had ruined his card on the 17th.

We had just come off after played a friendly 9 holes, got our gear away then went into the club house, police and ambvulance turned up. It seems someone had come ontop the course then slit wrist and throat on the 18th tee.
The paramedics messed with him for a long time and finally took him away in the ambulance with the siren going, so I presume he was still alive.
policeman said if he died the 18th would have to be closed as it would become a crime scene.
It was the captains charity day and it obviously created a big hold up. I was a shotgun start, which could have been highly inappropriate.

our course is a bit of a hot spot.. right on top of the cliffs over the years there has been jumpers and cars go over the edge...

although its a private golf course it has a public right of way through it due to a designated costal path... when i was younger if you you could make use of this costal path to have a look down on the nuddy beach haha.

as for the jumpers i cant comment on what they was wearing but if going down to the old beach possibly nothing haha
