Interesting little story. Fan shouted something at Rickie on the 9th green (their 18th) - been suggested he said "nice putt Rickie". Rickie looked over at him, and once Rickie had tapped in for his bogey Bubba decides to jump to Fowlers defence. Nice to see from Bubba. He rubs a lot of people up the wrong way with some of his comments, but I do think he's a genuinely good guy. Nice to see him do that, people shouldn't be able to get away with heckling on the course.

It's good to see that they are starting to stand up to hecklers. Now, if they can get rid of the tools that shout random rubbish after every tee-shot, that'd be great

I find it weird that someone can be against someone in golf. Even the pro players, while they like to win, are genuine happy if their opponent plays an amazing shot. So why a 'fan' wants someone to miss a put is beyond me.

Understandable in the Ryder Cup perhaps, but not at normal tournaments!
