What's been your favourite thread this year?

In no particular order.

The newbie seller after the 'not feeling the love thread' a day or two earlier that got 'the love' and almost 100 posts about a month ago. Really enjoyable, many tangents etc.

Though annoying at the time, that Monday night with Benny's antics. You had to be there. It started late Monday morning and finished by late Monday night. So glad I was around for it. It was almost akin to the first ever gig that the Sex Pistols did. 1000's claim to have been there, but in reality only a few were.

The top 5s have been interesting as it gives us all a different perspective on each other, it brings back some memories, and brings to light gems that I may have missed.


Not forgeting all the useful advice that you are all willing to give, the banter and the occasional 'mis-understanding'.

As a member of just 3 days, I don't feel i'm qualified to comment.

I must say though your thread with the title "obsessed with looks" got my attention. I was thinking about the way I looked on the golf course I always wear a clean pressed polo shirt and smart trousers. I always have polished shoes, and even wear a cap to cover up my bald patch.

Imagine my dissapointment when I opend the thread and it was all about clubs...........

I enjoyed putting my wit and repartee to use on all the spammers a few months back and the "praise" some of these got so that was a personal highlight.

The Benny thread was a gem but there have been loads particularly very early on in the year where we suddenly shot off on a tangent and went down some very funny routes.

The great thing about this place is that while the same old chestnuts (balls - round ones not a euphemism, custom fitting etc) keep popping up newbies always bring a new slant and vitality and we always seem to come up with something new.

To everyone who has contributed this year I'd like to say thanks for making my working day more interesting and giving me something to enjoy in the evenings insteads of the boring TV
