I thought I might find out where you lot all play. Recommendations are great for finding new courses.
I am a member at Goodwood in West Sussex although I live some 40 minutes away.
Two courses. The Downs which as it suggests goes up over the Sussex downs. Nice course designed by James Braid.
Some really great holes a challenge for anyone - particularly when the wind blows as it is fairly exposed. The other course is the Park which is also nice but definitely easier. It winds around goodwood house so some great views and you are often interrupted by the sight and sound of a vintage airplane as it flies just over your head (a couple of hundred feet) to land at the nearby Goodwood airfield.
Overall a great place to play if you haven't been there.

Our couse is set in a valley between high hills either side and the River Dee winding it's way down one side of the course here in North Wales.

I am based in Sussex, just north of Brighton so I mostly play around there. Pyecombe, Mid Sussex, Piltdown, East Brighton, Singing Hills, East Sussex National etc

Never played Goodwood though, is that where you have the funky golf carts??

Not too far away at Blackmoor, near Bordon. Keep meaning to play Goodwood as I have heard good reports, but never got round to it.

Yeah that's right. Weird little buggies that they call Woodies. Actually fun to look at and makes a change but with the canvas roof on they are hard to see out of and steer !
