Are you ever fully happy with what’s in your bag?

More than happy with the bag as it is. Any thing wrong is down to me to fix. It don't stop me looking at clubs nearly all the time lol.

That's fate telling you to get a 7 wood :D

I have an old adams tight lies 7 wood. its 24 degrees and just goes too high. it doesn't go far enough for my liking! super easy to launch though!

ive had a duke on ebay for that 7 wood you got. only seems to be available in ladies and senior flex for some unknown reason! :smirk:

Should suit me then :D

There's a lovely 910 7 wood on the bay with a stiff shaft at the minute

Never. Evidenced by my eBay activity over the last 24 hours.
2 new drivers, a g25 and a covert tour 2.0 in the post.

My New Years resolution not to buy any clubs this year lasted over half the year but smashed it now. Not sure how I'm going to get away with this one.
Step 1: get clubs delivered to work.

Always seems to be something that's not behaving, I usually threaten the offender with being replaced and if that doesn't work the axe falls!

Currently most under threat is the 3 wood, bought for vanity's sake, I love the hybrid and driver, so replaced the Nike Covert which I was striping miles, but just can't get on with the Titleist. Might try the Nike at the range again this week to really show that pesky 3 wood I am serious with the threat!

The offending Titleist and the potential usurper had a head to head at the range last night. The Titleist is now in the naughty cupboard! The Nike is so much easier to control, has a higher ball flight and is considerably longer especially of the floor.

Not unhappy with my bag at present but I can honestly say it is never likely to remain the same for too long and I am happy with that.

I like the process for trying, comparing and testing new gear and you cannot beat the feeling and anticipation before a round with a new club in the bag. I for one sort of dread the day when I am totally happy with all of my clubs and lose that whole process and excitement. I don't spend a fortune on anything else and a new club is my treat every now and again and so I do not want the day to come when I am totally happy with everything.

Playing well but struggling to resist the urge to fiddle with the irons.

Everything in the bag is spot on but I have just plumped for a #7 putter, fed up with leaving puts short and having to hole out having left the lag put 6 foot short. It may be a short lived project as the vp1 is good, but every time I pick up a #7 I just feel it's the one..... Putter love.

At the moment Im really happy with Driver, 5 wood, Baby Hybrid, 58* wedge and maybe my putter....

All other positions are up for debate and possible change...

My R580 5 wood might be heading back into the bag, I hit the Srixon great for all of about 1 week

I keep eyeing up a 712u 3I....or if I'd the nerve 2I just for thrill once every couple of rounds of thrashing a low into wind iron down the fairway...

either that or an Odyssey White Hot Pro #9......

The tm wedges have to go. Since changing to them from the mizunos i shank every other one. Use a friends wedge and not an issue.
