I'm quite happy to try to sort something out.
Is it worth starting another thread specifically for it so that people don't get lost on this one?
Ideally a Sunday towards the end of November/beginning of December?

Yes, new post, start again and get some names. Possibly suggest a date, not 22nd nov, as that rules at least 3 of us out, and go from there. May need to sound out the course re booking dates / availability on suggested day.

I'll give Old Thorns a call later...so we would be looking at Sunday 30th November or Sundays 7th or 14th December?
Ideal start time would be around 10.00am as it will be getting dark at about 4 then and it's quite a longish course.
Will let you know what they say and how much deposit would be required per person.

Could you not get a lift down with somebody?
I wasn't aware that you didn't have transport (should have checked your sig as it has your age on there doh!)...
Not trying to steal your thunder (it was your idea in the first place) but nobody seemed to want to make a decision..

Reading is a helluva trek for me from down here so we were never going to find the "ideal" venue
