Clubs playing Sunday comps ?

We are thinking of playing Sherwood Forest on Friday 23rd May , staying the night in Nottingham and playing a course on route to home which is South Manchester . We want to play another course on our way home , which could be around Chesterfield way or Buxton route home . The problem is majority of clubs have their main competition on Saturdays. But does anyone know of any courses doesn’t have comps on Saturday and could accommodate us ?

I can't comment on those in this area but when I've done similar trips in the past the best bet for this are usually hotel courses. If you don't get a positive answer on here, they may be worth checking out.

You’ll struggle for a morning time at most places but you might get somewhere nice that will let you on in the afternoon.

Stanedge (just off the Matlock Road not long after leaving Chesterfield) is a very pretty and well-conditioned 9 holer with fabulous views and some cracking holes - and having a relatively small membership you might have some Saturday success there. Bakewell is another 9 holes that is fun also - but no idea of their Saturday arrangements. I imagine that Matlock will not be able to accommodate.

Up here there are plenty opens on Saturday.

Thanks for checking for me . But it’s a Saturday tee times we need . Don’t know where that post has gone regarding tee times on a Sunday at Stanedge. Thanks
