I'm hoping to get out for a few holes after the mens competition today. Will be the first time I've played for two weeks. I've missed two competitions, bounce games and a prize presentation due to the insect bite I had followed by a stomach bug.

I played twice yesterday, 18 holes and scored 40 points then a further 9 and scored 13. Working today and tomorrow however I have the first of our winter series next week and aiming for a cut before the H4H day! Fingers crossed!!

Played in our monthly medal and handicap is 6.4 so could be off 7 by end of day but managed a gross 75 par 71 so net 69. Currently winning the gross and net in my division but a guy in division 2 shot 79 net 64 to be winning over all. But happy to have a cut coming
Roll up this morning. 36 points with two blobs so reasonably happy. Practice the short game in the morning and off to North Hants to check out the route for next week and have a mooch around

Sorry mate I never made it this morning but the bed was so comfy after a late night. Managed to get out with the greedy boys and shot a pathetic 30 points with 4 blobs playing of 8 handicap. 2 birdies though and had a few massive drives, 16th tee shot left me with 117yds left to the green. 15th par 5 was on in 2 with a 3 wood then 3 hybrid just skimmed the hole with an eagle putt which left a tap in birdie. I was just pushing everything right today weird. Had lots of birdie putts which was good so I'm happy with the game, just need to stopping pushing it right. Your tee shot on the 10th was awesome, you was far down there wasn't you.

Glad you got a game and you're still more than welcome anytime. Not playing next week as the stableford's on but any non-comp Saturday we'll be there. Only had 112 left on 10 and stuck a 3/4 9 iron to 10 feet and the birdie putt horseshoed out.

Presidents prize and last round of our OOM , currently joint second after 9 rounds need a top 3 finish to have any chance , as its Stableford off the whites theres not a hope unless i shoot a couple under par .. game is not at that level so handicap cut and gross prize is all that in the offing

Well today I had the absolute pleasure of going back and playing Blackmoor for the first time in a few years. All I can say is I love that place. The treble bogey after going into "The Pit" on the last which meant I shot a 10 over 79 was a bit annoying but I love it all the same :thup:
