Anybody Used Tivo

I have the option to upgrade my Virgin TV Box to a Tivo one. If I do this I pay an extra £3 a month but do get free multiroom using my old box so sounds like a reasonable deal. What I am not sure about is what Tivo offers over and above the standard Virgin/Sky box. Anyone got any experience or comments.

I just ordered one on the same deal, gets installed on Sat.
From what I can gather is it has a much bigger HD than the the V+ box, it learns what you like via a rating system and what you watch and then recommends and records things for you and apparently it is easier to navigate.
Oh and you can go on Twitter and Facebook and watch YouTube on it.

I just thought for the deal they were offering I would be daft not to take it.

I've had the old TIVO for about 10 years and has been brilliant.
Alas, the new Tivo is only available to cable customers so that's me out.
If the new tivo (1 TB I believe) is as good as the old one, it should be very good.
