Going to see him play at the Troubadour club in London, acoustic guitarist , think he plays a bit of Dylan, apparently has got a good following around Liverpool.

Father in law knows of him, apparently used to play at the Slaughterhouse as Groundpig or something and he says he's ok.

Slaughter house is - normally a comedy place, whenever I've been it's had Neil Fitzmaurice as compere (Phoenix Nights, Mount Pleasant etc...)

You should go, you'd enjoy it.

That's the one, it's actual name is the fenwick tavern, but it's nickname is the slaughterhouse. It's a decent boozer actually, and not a rough house.
