Any other overgrown children? cars question.

I just love creeping up alongside the boy racers with the big bore exhausts at the lights in my 5 litre V8 Cobra and scaring the $hit out of them when I press the loud pedal.

Absolutely loved my Kawasaki ZX7R Ninja....fast poop!!!!

Craziest car I owned was a Dutton Phaeton kit car. Perfect if you like to drive about 3 inches off the tarmac. Cherry bomb exhaust sounded amazing. Wasn't too clever when it rained though. :o

Why didn't you just weld a baked bean tin on your old one?
I just don't get these exhausts
Think of them as lairy trousers with a decent sized pocket for the score card.
Yea you can live with something a little less eyecatching but it still actually serves a function too.

On my motor the standard system strangles its ability to run to its potential. Plus in my opinion, it is one of the nicest sounding engines out there.
I agree with CliveW also, sneak up alongside the chavved up saxos etc and listen to them blip the accelerator, then give them a show of how a proper engine sounds. Our 4.6 V8 x5 sounds like thunder too, fantastic.

On a car? Nor do I.
On a motorbike? Makes perfect sense.

I can guarantee that 9 times out of 10, if a car pulls out in front of a bike and causes a collision, the *** driving will come back with the SMIDSY..."sorry mate, I didn't see you".

So giving the blind gits something to hear is called "self preservation"

Love the kit cars.

We are doing a Cosworth conversion in a Tiger Cat1 kit car at the moment. It was already an animal with the tricked-up pinto but with the 350BHP cossie lump that is going in, this car is going to be scary.
