Another year of no bag changes

Well, I have new irons, wedges, hybrid, and driver, 2nd new one this year!!
Only things I kept were 3 wood and putter, still have my ping hybrid, but it's going to the garage for a bit I think, to try the new one! Now next year, I am changing nothing, adding a waterproof cart bag to go with the stadry carry will be all, and maybe another pair of new shoes....
but that's it, hopefully !!

I haven't purchased any new clubs this year so that almost counts as no bag changes but...

I have changed the shaft in my driver to combat an occasional massive block+fade - seems to have worked.
Ditched my JPX825 irons and gone back to my older MP68 as I can no longer strike the ball clean with the the JPX's at all. Can't stop thinking about some new irons to fix this madness!

But the biggest achievement is the putter. For the first time in my 6 years of playing I've had the same putter - Scotty Futura X5 - in the bag all year. It still works well and I still love it to death. :)

How did you decide which new shaft was suitable?

No bag changes for me this year.

However I have a putter fitting at the weekend and vouchers that need spending....

Planning to keep everything else for next year as well but maybe new irons next winter!

My putter has been in the bag for 3 years now and the wedges for 2. Oldest club is the Mizuno Fli Hi

Changed to Callaway woods last Christmas but driver just been replaced with the Cobra King. Adams clubs added in February

I'm glad it's not just me. I was completely happy with my bag at the start of the year, now the only thing that's the same is the putter. I'm not even considering getting another driver as soon as the new callaway drops

My whole bags changed, yet the only things that's safe are the mini and the wedges.

driver works ok but I wasn't fit for it so there's a ?
7 wood and hybrid, surprised they're still in tbh
irons, ugly but work. Sense says keep em, vanity says callaway apexs...
putter, who knows?

Go go for the apex, they are so easy to hit and feel really nice. They were on my shortlist. Ended up with the JPX forged but was really close with the apex. The no upcharge shaft/grip changes swung it in mizunos favour

Simply...everything but my 3 wood has been replaced this year!

A year to the day I bought a titleist 3 iron and said 'that's my bag set for at least two seasons. A year on where are we- new 3 wood, new putter, booked in for irons and wedge fitting which I reckon may cause a replacement to the 3 iron ironically. Also considering adding an m1 driver to the Christmas list.

So, in a year, every club changed/ will be changed.

Who said golf was expensive...

Same driver, fairway, irons and wedges. Irons were a new purchase at the start of the season. Recently now the season has finished I've acquired a new putter and 3i + 4i Titleist tmb's.

Have bought tonnes of clubs throughout the year and the make-up of the bag has changed pretty regularly.

Started the year with a mix of 714 AP1 and AP2 irons, went back to my old Mizunos halfway through but I'm now using the Titleists again, having switched the 4, 5 and 6 irons to AP2 rather than AP1.

Have probably bought three different hybrids and a 5 wood this year and having been unable to hit any of them properly I've decided that they're going to be replaced with a 3 iron. Struggling to find an AP2 3 iron so have been looking at the 716 MB or maybe a second hand 712U.

My wedges are ok but I'm starting to question whether or not they're a bit too bouncy so I'm considering some new ones. I'll probably end up going for 50, 54 and 58.

I've changed driver this year, and a few months after buying it I bought another shaft for it, so I suppose that has changed twice too.

Only consistency all year has been with 3 wood and putter, although I did bring my Scotty out of retirement for one week only before promptly putting it back in the cupboard.

Despite all that faffing about the handicap has come down 0.5 since the start of the year.

TL;DR version - many changes, now just need to decide on a driving iron to replace my hybrid and which wedges to go for and how many of them. Although the M2 is really tempting me...

Well I failed in that also!

Just bought some new Nike Pro Combo Irons, a new driver and I got a new hybrid this year! Oh not forgetting my new putter at the beginning of the year!

I say that's it for a year but I bet new wedges will happen next year!!
