Anniversary of my old mans death today so I thought Id go out and lose myself in a round for a few hours, never got the chance my Powakaddy chucked it after 5 holes, took it to the repair centre to be told the control module was kaput and would cost £100 to repair it.

I've only had the kart since December and this is the 5th time its stopped working. Its a ex hire unit which I bought from my courses Pro Shop, it came with a three month warranty which was used for the first two repairs a battery block and a gremlin.

Now thinking of buying a Motocaddy as I can't be arsed getting it fixed again. Does anyone think they will be better or will I just get it repaired and live in hope it lasts another few months.

Or buy a pencil bag and carry, mine hasnt let me down yet, even when one strap buckle slipped. :D
No batteries to charge, wheels to attach, clean and service....

I saw a 13 year old with a Powakaddy type trolley, whats the point in that, you should be carrying your bags at that age surely?

I'd like to think I'll carry my bag until I'm an old man.

Im now about to put the kiss of death on my motocaddy and say its 4 years old and going great other than replacing the battery this year.

Strange thing now I've just pulled it out of its bag and it's working again. Gave the control module a tap and voila. Not sure whits the matter with it now.
