I always seem to lose the flight of the ball on drives/long tee shots even when dead straight, I am longsighted and obviously wear bin lids.

Would prescription sunglasses/reactolite lenes help?

its very annoying relying on playing partners to spot for me :(

I am also a wearer of glasses and have the same problem mate! Please drop me a PM if you get lenses and they work! This has been driving me mental for ages,I feel your pain.

the funny thing is I am great at finding balls in the rough or other people just cant follow the flight whatsoever. Would get laser treatment but I am too blind lol

i have recently changed to contact lenses and find these alot better than glasses for seeing your ball!!

Sounds odd but i think its the way the contact lenses sit on your eye that gives you a better vision..

Defo recommend contact lenses!

Don't hit the ball so far? ;)

I have pretty decent sight (eyes lasered a couple of years ago) and still lose the flight, although I generally have an idea of the line based on the shot I've hit.

Definitely get your eyes checked though, maybe just a change as you get old(er)

haha, I dont hit it far, quite far right on occasion though ;)

I have contacts but only wear em out clubbing/on the pull (do I still go clubbing or out on the pull at nearly 40.. sort of)

as I dont wear them often I struggle getting the buggers in, will give it a try for next weeks round and get an appointment booked in the mean time

Get your prescription checked by the optician as a first.

I'm not sure that a tint would really help but I've heard that polarising lenses can sometimes help improve clarity.

I've just had new bins with all the bells and whistles, tint, vari focal and scratch resistant coating. Cost £310 and they seem usless for golf, may be coinsidence but since I got them a month ago my ball striking is crap and as for seeing the ball flight, well 50% 0f the time I have no idea where it went. Embarassing to have to keep asking "Did anyone see where mine went" In every other respect they are fine so don't have a clue what to do about it.

A yellow tint make sit easier in darker conditions. Blues and greys increase contrast in different ways. I have exactly the same problem as you and am looking for tinted specs just now. Your optician should be able to recommend a tint.
