Alonso has went too far, suggesting a fan threw a bottle onto the circuit because of Lewis Hamilton is something the FIA should look at with a view of penalising this donkey faced Spaniard.

Ferrari are still spewing because Donkey couldn’t go faster, because he was gnawing straw instead of putting in some good lap times. Then just as he came upon some tasty grass shoots Kobayashi passed the donkey.

None of this had anything to do with the fact that Hamilton was the fastest man on the track come the second half of the race or that no other team were spewing venom like Ferrari.

Ferrari are down the order because they’re not the force they were and they have Donkey kong driving for them.

Hamilton took advantage of a situation that was marginal but worng, he got the drive through, and Alonso was never good enough to take advantage of that drive through.

I take it this was the bottle that was about a hundred yards from any spectators and had it been thrown, would have broken on impact?
The wee marshall fairly earned his money that day legging it the 70 yards or so there to lift it too, his legs couldnt carry him any faster.

If I remember rightly, wasnt it budweiser? perhaps it was a stunt like the bBavaria brand tried at the World Cup :D

He should stick to selling pasta sauce

If he spent more time concentrating on driving and less time throwing his toys out of his pram on the the radio, he may get some better results...

An absolute disgrace as they have shown a blatant disregard for the rules of the sport. It will be very interesting to see how the FIA act towards anyone else breaks the rules in the remainder of the season. God help Maclaren and Hamilton if it is them.

Another shameful day for F1... but if you were running Team Ferrari would you do the same thing and try to get Alonso the title or let Massa win knowing that he's a lovely guy and has come back really well after his accident but ain't got the juice to win the World Title ?

Apart from the above, the race was pretty dire. They should just race at Canada then Belgium then back to Canada etc etc and only race when it's raining or some goon has thrown oil/beer/glass/exploding things onto the track.

Agree, the cheating bastids.
Eddie Jordan got it right.
They should have had the manufacturers points taken away (for both cars) and Alonso should have been DQ'd.
I feel sorry for Massa. He was gutted.
Alonso? Great driver but he needs the rough end of a pineapple.

Isn't Todt FIA president ?
Getting a pension from Ferrari perhaps?

Heard Ferrari's feeble excuse 'we wanted to avoid the risk of our cars crashing into each other'

Yeh....so we wont race. Under the new rules It's cheating and how anyone can be happy with a win like that is beyond me. The FIA should reverse the placing as the rules were brought in to stop this very thing.

This type of stuff really does spoil the sport for the fans. If this result is allowed to stand then I don't think I'm going to bother watching F1 anymore. What's the point of watching 2 hours of a race only for the team to get a driver to let the other guy through?

Massa had a great drive and he deserved to be the winner. I understand why he pulled over, afterall they pay his wages. I'm just glad he wasn't very subtle about it so it was obvious to everyone. I hope Ferrari get a bigger fine for this (100k is peanuts) and are also stripped of their constructors points for this race.
Also it would be nice if Massa is bumped up to first and Alonso is d/q'd. Ironically, that would then put Massa ahead of Alonso in the world championship standings.

harsh on Massa perhaps but it should be the whole team disqualified.

Don't agree.
Massa was following orders from his team which he couldn't really refuse.
What more could he have done without jeapordising his job?
I liked what Eddie Jordan said about Damon Hill when he was told he had to let his team mate through
"If he tries to come past, I'll take him out"

Good on ya Damon
