Allianz Arena Tour or BMW Museum?

In a few weeks time I will be going to Munich for a trade show. It looks like I will have a day to myself and having done some of the other museums previously I was thinking of either doing the BMW museum or doing the Allianz stadium tour, Bayern Munich. I don't want to do both so I have to choose.

The Bayern tour can be done in English, they alternate between German and English, so language will not be an issue, as it wont at the BMW museum.

Has anyone done either of them? What did you think?

No great lover of cars so it would be Bayern for me, although I’d suspect either would be enjoyable.

I have done the BMW museum. It was a nice car museum. I have also done the Mercedes museum in Stuttgart which is better, and the Ferrari museum which is rubbish.

On some days BMW do a factory tour. If you haven't been round a car factory, this is really informative. They build everything there, from pressing panels to building engines. A brilliant tour. I am in manufacturing, but it was still brill.

I would do BMW. A stadium is a stadium. BMW is history.
