I have a Taylormade rescue club 3i which I have hardly used as I struggle to hit it. I was goin to sell it but as its adjustable I thought I'd try and change it. Is there a guide anywhere as how to do it and what it changes?

Same one I have, its not the easiest to hit but you really have to treat it like an iron.

I suggest getting a lesson on it, ask the pro to set it up for you. I bet then it will become your go to club!

I did that after starting to struggle with it. Initially I was rubbish, then it started working then it went cold again!

I had a lesson, sorted out my swing and now it is my go to club off the tee when I cannot use the driver! It is also a dream off poor lies, helped me par a few holes I should not have recently!

I just needed a slight tweak on the settings to stop it drawing, it now is a slight fade to high straight shot!

I also have a Taylor Made Dual TM 19* rescue with the adjustable weights in the toe and heel and use it on tight tee shots and long approach shots. It's fitted with the steel shaft so is about the same length as a std 3 iron and because of this I tend to swing a bit slower which suits me as I tend to swing like a crazed madman when I have a wood in my hand!

I have the 14 gram weight in the heel and the 8 gram weight in the toe (I tend to play with a fade) which gives me a straighter ball flight, hope this helps.
