Accenture Match Play

Starts tomorrow. Westwood starts with a match against Henrik Stenson, not the easiest of games, but then again Westwood never does to good in this competition.
Just looked at the draw and there are some really good potential matches, Woods V Harrington in the second round and Johnson V Watson in who can hit it the longest.

At this early stage my 4 for the semi's are Luke Donald, Graeme Mcdowell, Hunter Mahan and Paul Casey. So if any of you have had a wager on any of these I apologise now.

Ah, just spotted he's playing Geoff Ogilvy, former winner and all round desert specialist. I know who my money would be on in that one.

I did say potential matches! Harrington has a hard match against Geoff Ogilvy in the first round, whilst Woods plays Thomas Bjorn.

A few very good first round matches are, Watney V Kim, Stricker V Manassero, Poulter V Cink, Mahan V O'hair, and Tim Clark V Villegas.

My money is also on Anthony Kim and Tim Clark, along with Mahan to win their respective games.

Heart says Manassero, head says Sticker is too experienced and steady in that game.

Poulter/Cink match should be ding dong. I think Cink's one of the best singles matchplayers out there when his putter's hot and he's up against the defending champ. No holds barred, that one.

Why oh why did I give up my Sky subscription? Am really gonna miss this.

Don't worry yourself craw, not working for the NHS this week as i'm holed up in my office at uni so the NHS coffers are well protected. The massive hole in the university's deficit may well get bigger though!

After his recent win I had Bjorn down as a possible... until I saw the draw

Oddly I don't know who I want to win so it should be great viewing either way!

If Big Thomas can keep those eyebrows undr control he's playing well enough to take Tiger.
I reckon Poults, Fisher, Casey and Ernie will do well this week.

I really can see Bjorn beating Tiger, but couldn't bring myself to pick him for my fantasy team.

Also don't fancy Westwood, Poulter, Donald, but already have Westwood in from previous weeks.
