a soaking and my first birdie

Went round with another new member to mark a card for her, played quite well first nine including a birdie on a par 5.

On the 13th the heavens opened so I picked up and just walked the rest, the course has taken quite a battering from all the rain, the 16 green was a third under water. Still we made it round and she has got her 3rd card in, I bet she doesnt want a repeat of the score she shot though.
