Didn't think the 'sport' of boxing could get any lower...

But Chisora has found ways of dragging this once great sport further into the gutter...

Don't think Haye is doing himself any favours either...

And that's why I watch UFC...to get away from these petty little antics. No respect for each other. At least MMA fighters are trained to show respect through their martial art.

what happened?i wasn't really interested in this fight but what has chisora done to make you say that?

talking about mma and ufc i have to mention alistair overeem,he is a beast:eek:

i watched a video of him on youtube and someone had put a funny comment saying that if they found him in bed with their missus they would tuck them in:rofl:

What do you expect?

It's organised thuggery - they fight.
Can't expect them to behave properly when they spout so much Bull.

Got no time for it.

I don't watch boxing but it doesn't take a genius to work out that chisora is a nasty piece of work, he should be banned from all boxing, and saying he's going to shoot and burn David haye is outrageous, that's a criminal offence and is totally unacceptable

yup, threatening harm of any type is an offence (Unfortunately I know from a past experience)

a total idiot and deserves to have the book thrown at him for bringing the sport into disrepute, and yes I know boxing is already a joke at certain weights

It was a disgrace from everyone there last night. Klitchkos should not be entering the opponents dressing room and that was bang out of order as well as the spitting water in his face was too. The slapping incident and the press conference fight amongst Haye and Chisora was bang out of order to.

The annoying thing about it all was that the actual boxing match was pretty good. It is just everything else in the world of boxing that is complete rubbish and is making a mockery out of the sport and making it look more like wwe than a sport.

How can you have the Klitchkos controlling all these belts and taking all the easier fights deciding who they want to fight where and when and if people dont agree to there terms then they dont fight. Surely it should be the boards saying you fight him now and you get paid equal amounts. Why is it now taking farcical scenes like last night to try and get more fights. You listen to the panel after the fight and they are saying Vladimir was just goading Chisora so he can book his next easy fight. Haye is trying to goad out any of the Klitchkos by making lots of comments in the press.

Its not just the heavyweights look out how long it is taking to try get the Pacquiao v Mayweather fight with both saying yes then suddenly a blood test breaks the deal, both these guys will be 50 by the time that fight gets going and you really want them fighting at there peak. I have more respect for the fighters who are willing to take on any fight and risk a loss rather than trying to protect the zero loss column.

surely a lot of the blame with regards choosing opponents etc is down to the promoters/managers jammag?

How much say do the boards actually have these days? Rarely do you see mandatory defences

Well yeah it is thats what I mean as well and forgot to put in, theres too many people trying to make money out of them, like agents in football. The sport would be a lot better if they actually made people defend there titles rather than all this deal making to make as much profit as possible. Its like barcelona saying they wont defend the champions league unless they receive this and that and only play in certain countries.

It's an absolute shambles. I watched the fight and thought Chisora did well and I actually thought a little more of him. Then the in-the-ring antics began followed by the brawl. Clearly Chisora has no class. Also agree that the deal-making and title defences is a joke. Can't see what is sporting about cherry picking your opponents as the Klitchkos do.

John Bones Jones is another amazing fighter, quick as hell and has about 5 inches in reach over anyone he fights

Financially they both did each other a huge favour. They'll earn millions when they fight each other because they now have an audience that will want to see them fight.

David Haye was defending himself against Chisora and his entourage and he did a good job of it as well.

Haye is a big mouth who couldn't back it up in his last fight but Chisora and his mates, should not have confronted Haye at the press conference.

I really struggle to take boxing seriously any more. Guaranteed next "big" heavyweight fight Haye and Chisora. Call me a cynic but what a pantomime. Look at the bad blood, its got to be exciting. Heavy weight boxing is a mess and in general boxing involves too much politics for it to be classed a true sport.

Farce as was last nights 'fight'.

Hardly a fight was it. Chisora was being praised to the hilt last night by the pundits but for me he was never ever close to beating his opponent.

Leaney's right. They are both trying to get their next big pay day. The fat that Haye and Chisora will now fight and will both make millions out of it makes me sick to the stomach.

Sadly, you are most probably right... But it doesn't make what happened right though...

And, where does slapping your opponent in the face and spitting over another fit into this scenario?

Just further sullies the reputation of a once great sport...
