This is probably one of my favourite swings...

Don't you think it looks easy/balanced/controlled/smooth....

Thoughts........

Can't say it's a thing of beauty JO. It's got a Ray Floydd pause half way back and then it reminds me of Zak Johnson through the ball.

Give me the "uneducated, wrong way" anyday.. ;)

I actually prefer your swing James! ;):fore:

I'll PM you my address for the cheque. :p

Genuinley interested here JO so could you explain why its S&T?

I get the straight right leg part keeping him central over the ball.

Flattish left arm, is that a trademark also along with a short backswing?

don't know much about S&T so apologies if the questions are too basic

It does look very simple and not much could go wrong but it looks all a bit to robotic and not free flowing.

But who am I to talk with my shonky swing.

He's not transferring any weight to the right side (stacked) and his shoulder plane at the top points down towards the ball (tilted).

The right leg retains some flex (not locked) and the shoulders & hips are on the same plane which encourages a fuller turn, and a swingpath from the inside.

I think it's a great swing, I wish I could ping my 6-iron like that with such a short/simple backswing instead of flailing around wildy trying to... oh wait.... I CAN hit my 6-iron like that! :ears:

(disclaimer)... sometimes........... when I'm not trying to swing outta my boots!
