I enjoy Texas scrambles but wouldn't want to play them more than once or twice a year.

The worst bit is when they rule that you have to take 4 drives from each player.... there's always at least one in my team having a nightmare with the driver!

thats all part of the fun, have seen teams taking drives that have just made it of the tee. or last sunday a certain team taking a drive that was in a lateral water hazard and no one else took a drive. took 4 shots to get on the green sink it and still bogey it.

There was a team at our place where the last drive had to be by a guy who had played poorly the entire round. They still were in with a chance of winning and they begged him to play an air shot as they felt the penalty would be better than the crap he was likely to finish in. I was pleased that he refused to do it as he didn't think it was morally right, but he did put them in the crap!
