40 today!

...and frankly I'm gutted

The only thing I can think of to cheer myself up is that I have 10 years practicing to qualify for the Seniors Tour

I'm expecting full body failure any minute

Happy birthday, only 9 weeks behind you on the 40 thing - not happy about turning 40 at all.

I suppose we think we should have achived so much more by now.

Apart from diabetes, dodgy back, sore shoulder, achy knees, being 2 stone overweight, having short sightedness and no hair I'm holding up pretty well!

JustOneUK... be positive... Turning 40 is great. You might not feel the same a few years into the 40's but 40 itself is great. So I'll say congratulations

Happy Birthday! Sorry to burst your bubble but my friend who is a current European Seniors Tour Pro informs me that it's actually 54 for a non-pro to become eligible!!!! I was gutted when i found out but reckoned i'd need that extra 4 years practice!!

Half way to 80 and the possibility of shooting you age, you gotta look at the positives.

On the other hand we all peak around 6-13 for our eyesight, hearing etc so we all going downhill.
