Got one of my pro friends on the 3bays swing analyser. Here are 2 of his swings that has been compared side to side. The red font is Swing #2 and the green swing is his first swing (which we set up as Best Swing). The most interesting parameter is his Tempo >5.

ps: As the ball was going straight down the range, I think the 'open' face angle is due to human error in aligning the 3bays with the face.

What I find more interesting is that you managed to have two swings exactly identical in all 10 parameters. You mate isn't called Kryten or Marvin per chance :D

I've got a 3 bays and can't get a tempo slower than about 3:1 and that's slower than most I've tried it with. His tempo is remarkably slow!

Cant do a screen grab but my driver data is consistency 100%, club head speed 101mph, tempo 2.6:1, impact force 1678lbs, back swing 0.74s, ball speed 145, downswing 0.28s , carry distance 248yards, face angle open, swing path square ... Measured nov 7th 2013. My consistency is usually around 82% average and club head speed is 99-102mph ...
All I think it shows is I don't pause at the top.

if you r using the 3 bays... then it is the first button on the left hand side on the tablet/phone. The one with a dot and 2 arrows.. It is the 'share' button.

Picture update....

Tnx Khamelion .. just realised i posted the wrong pic... Here is the pic that compares swing 1 & 2. The previous one compares 2&2.. Call it fat fingers or lazy..

Apologies for the confusion

Oo that worked, I am struggling to see a significant speed difference between my 7 and 6 iron, should it be around 3mph ?

The speed in a 3bays is a calculated speed. The length of a 6 and 7 iron are nearly the same. Assuming that you swing the handle at nearly the same speed, the calculated speed of the club head will nearly be the same.

I have to be honest I have found there to be discrepancies in carry distances on the course I am longer than the numbers from the 3 bays .. I have measured using laser and sat nav

The thing I have found is my 5 iron data is weird. The downswing time is the same but the club head speed is 8-10mph different.

Again the carry distance is a calculated distance, so depends on a lot of factors. Also, have you customised the length of the Driver in the 3bay settings. You may be carrying a longer club.

Also, how did you measure the carry distance on the course? Easy to measure the total (carry + roll), but a bit more difficult to do just the carry (though not impossible)

it means you are swinging all the clubs at the same speed... but as the 5i is longer it will have a higher club head speed.

No the 5 iron data was nov vs jan same club, just can't fathom the difference in speeds. As for distances, I am talking about my irons, usually the flag is lasered and then the distance measured to pitch mark by nav. I will sort out the driver length as I have changed since this data was recorded.

This was a 7 iron reading I did a while back, the distance is quite a bit shorter than I actually achieve

I was reading somewhere that there is a slight discrepancy in the distances, but as they are calculated one can guess that the error is an assumption or variable (possibly weather ..)

Agree.. there are a lot of variables that can affect the real life ball flight.. weather, type of ball, smash factor etc. I tried to take the 3bay onto the course, but there was too much time being lost between switching it on, putting it on different clubs etc.. so gave up. However, my calculated distances is pretty much close to where I hit the ball.

Yup, but the 5iron thing is bothering me, if I am lagging I will still have affected the downswing time. Unless someone knows some way of explaining it.

Can you post the 2 screenshots of the data and the swing...
