36 Points

Normally would expect 32 to 34 tops - as others have said - my handicap is indicative of how I can score when playing well with more good fortune than back luck - not how I might play with my usual inconsistencies and if good fortune and bad luck balance out. So at the moment 36pts maybe 1 in 8 off the back tees.

Buffer or better for me, if its a point one, I don't feel it was a good day, wouldn't lose any sleep though. So far this year its 9 buffers or better and 9 point ones. Just over half were stroke though rather than all stableford.

Just trying to get my head around SSS and say 39 points being playing to handicap off the yellows. I take it all this means is that if Par is 72 and SSS is 75 then you need to score the 39 points to play to your handicap?

As already said to you it is the other way round. Ours is par 71 SSS 68
